Philosophy

At AISN, we believe that students who develop lifelong learning skills are prepared to become responsible and productive global citizens. By working together as a community, we intentionally nurture these skills in every child. • Problem Solvers: Acquire curiosity to think critically, understand and solve real-life problems in our world.
• Teamwork: Find a sense of belonging through relationships built on mutual trust and respect with adults and peers.
• Skilled Communicators:  Develop the self-confidence an interdependency to express ideas, listen actively, understand their audience, use appropriate language (written/spoken), and adapt their message to different situations, showing empathy, confidence and respect to build understanding and achieve goals in class, projects, and life. 
• Innovative Thinkers: Use language to communicate effectively and to facilitate thinking and learning while understanding and respecting social and cultural diversity.
• Informed and Engaged Citizens: A young person who actively seeks knowledge about societal issues, critically analyzes diverse perspectives, and uses that understanding to participate constructively in their community and democratic processes, who move beyond just knowing facts to take meaningful calculated risks or actions for the common good, through activities like volunteering, advocacy, respectful debate, or community projects.
